Charlotte's Web by E.B. White reviewed by Julia
This book was about Wilbur the pig and Charlotte the spider. Charlotte wants to help Wilbur so he won't be sold. My favorite character in the book was Wilbur because he is funny and nice. I like this book because the animals are in the barns. I would recommend this book to whoever likes animals and farms.

Bad Kitty Gets a Bath reviewed by Delilah
I read the book Bad Kitty Gets a Bath by Nick Bruel. In this book, the owner of the cat thinks it is time for the cat to get a bath, but the cat hears it and tries to make a run for it! The owner should have used seek first to understand, then to be understood by knowing that cats do not like water. This book is funny and I think just about everyone will like it!

Wonder reviewed by Gala
Wonder by RJ Palacio is about a boy named August whose face is severely deformed and he begins to go to public school for the first time in 5th grade. It is one of the best books I have ever read! I feel this way because it is a very touching story that is happy and sad at times. It is just an overall heart-warming story. As a fourth grader, I love to read so every night and every day I would read at least three chapters. I LOVE this story, so give it a try! You might love it, too!!

Bud, Not Buddy reviewed by Alex W.
Bud, Not Buddy by
Christopher Paul Curtis is a great book full of action, adventure, and lots of
funny moments, too. My personal favorite part in Bud, Not Buddy is at the
Amoses house and he is getting put in their shed and he has an epic fight with
hornets, fish heads and vampire bats. If you like action, adventure and comedy,
you should read this book.

Chomp reviewed by Ethan C.
The book I read is Chomp by Carl Hiassen. This book is about Wahoo and his dad and they
are part of a reality nature show as animal wranglers. My favorite part is
where they are looking for Derek Badger (the reality show host) after he went
missing. My recommendation is that you should check out the book if you like an
adventure and like to read about wilderness.

DWK Dog Days reviewed by Jabbir
I read Diary
of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days by Jeff Kinney. This book is very funny and part of a big series with Greg Heffley as the main character. The part of the
book that I like is that it takes place in summer at pool. I like the pool
because I like to swim. If you like all the Wimpy Kid books, read this one and you should check out the newest one DWK Hard Luck coming out November 5, 2013.

The Stonekeeper reviewed by Aidan😀
I read the book The Stonekeeper (Amulet Book 1) by Kazu Kibuishi. The main characters are
Emily and Navin. The book is about Emily and Navin’s dad has died, so it’s just them
and their mom. After that tragedy, they moved out of their old house and in to a
new house to start a new life. When they were fixing some stuff, Emily finds an amulet. On their first night Emily and Navin’s mom was kidnapped by a weird
creature and the adventure begins! Read this book if you LOVE graphic novels (in a series) and adventure!

Frightful's Mountain by Jean Craighead George reviewed by Cole
One of my favorite book series is the My Side of the Mountain Series by Jean Craighead George. In that series, my favorite is Frightful's Mountain. In this book, Frighful, the peregrine falcon that Sam Gribley trained in the first book is off on her own adventure. I love books that give you an animal's perspective and that is what you get in this book: Frightful's view. Many things happen to Frightful as she tried to make her way back to Sam, where she instinctively thinks she belongs. I love all of the information about peregrine falcons and birds of prey that I learned from this book. I cannot tell you my favorite part because it will give things away--read the book to go on a wild adventure!

"The One and Only Ivan" reviewed by Josie
The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate is about a gorilla (Ivan) and an elephant (Stella) that live in the Big Top Mall and Video Arcade. One day a new elephant comes to live there, too. The book is told from Ivan's perspective and I love books told from an animal's point of view. I would recommend this book because it has funny parts, but also has sad parts. You end up loving the characters so much in this book! I loved the little girl in the book named Julia because she loves Ivan and cares about him when others do not. If you like books about friendship and wonder about whether having animals in captivity is a good thing, this is the book for you!
